On-the-Job Training and Self-study

Path One

Easily the most cost-effective route, but depending on factors such as student motivation and availability, has the potential to be the one of the shorter or longer paths. This option allows for hands-on experience  through the instructional period.

If you're motivated and want to learn at your own pace with little instructional guidance, this may be be the best option for you.

RCT/T Vocational Program

Path Two

Potentially the most expensive and another lengthy option; however, it may work best for those who need a highly structured learning environment and accountability oversight. Availability might be an issue if you can't find a provider in your area.

If there's an accredited provider nearby, and you need a highly-structured environment, this may be your best choice.

COA-PSG Certificate Program

Path Three

The longest option by far with a two-year completion time-frame and varying costs based on providers. This option allows for a semi-structured learning environment for students who aren't in a hurry to complete the program and need to do so on their own timeline.

If there's an accredited provider nearby, and you've got the time, this may be the best option for you.

ASTEP

Path Four

With moderate fees compared to other pathways and the quickest completion time by far, Focus Sleep School provides motivated students the chance to begin their career in sleep medicine in under six months, all while equipping them to pass their certification exam.

If you’re seeking a low-cost, fast-track program backed by a committed team of instructors, tutors, and mentors, our Intro to Sleep Medicine for Technologists Course is the perfect choice!
